The Spring Term finished with a survival day. Over the term we have investigated why it is that we live on Earth and not anywhere else. Class Tamar looked at the importance of water in geography and the states of matter in science.

Continuing our Autumn topic we spent the day being engineers like Isambard Kingdom Brunel. His legacy from Victorian times still affects our lives today. How strong can you build a bridge with just 5 pieces of paper, string and a bit of tape?
Our Autumn Term Topic was 'What did the Victorians do for us?'. We wanted to know what it was like to go to school in Victorian Times, so we looked in our school log book. Before half term we took part in a Victorian school day. Watch the video below.

Our summer term topic 'Is it a question of sport?' Finished with a whole school Olympics. This is a video of our highlights.
To begin our summer term topic 'Is it a queston of sport?' we spent the day at Mount Edgcumbe playing different sports. We also flew kites supporting CHICKS. Watch our wonderful video below.
To finish our spring topic 'What makes our world wonderful?' Fourlanesend transformed into a natural history and science museum. The children thoroughly enjoyed showing their work and talking about what they had learnt. 
Our topic in the spring term was 'What makes our worlds wonderful?' We all went to the Eden Project to launch our topic. Watch the video of our trip below.
Autumn term answered the question 'What is entertainment?' we began with a magic show and ended in our very own Christmas Production and Winter Wonderland tourists experience.
