Fourlanesend’s PE Vision Statement:

Fourlanesend believes that Physical Education is an essential part of a child’s educational development. We aim to provide a balanced programme offering a variety of activities to enhance skills in Physical Education and to ensure every child becomes physically fitter. Positive participation in Physical Education will enable children to build self-esteem, team work and positive attitudes.

 

We aim to:

Develop confidence, skills and knowledge.

Build enthusiasm for learning.

Promote fair play and respect.

Educate children to improve health and wellbeing.

 

 

In 2016-17 we have worked hard to develop existing links and foster new sports partnerships with different providers. 

Plymouth Argyle provide an afterschool football club for KS1 AND KS2 children.
Netball is coached by Miss Jary is a student from the University of St Mark and St John, Plymouth. She plays Netball for the university team.
Tom from Plymouth College and Aaron from City College Plymouth coach our KS2 Football team.
KS2 had swimming lessons at the Life Centre, Plymouth (operated by Everyone Active)
Mr Robinson is from the Cornish Cricket Company. He teaches Tag Rugby and G+T multi-skills.
